Acceptable Use Policy

1. Follow the law and respect rights

• Do not use Hyponema for illegal activity or to violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, consumer protection, telecommunications, export, sanctions, or data protection laws.
• Do not submit or generate content unless you have the rights, notices, consents, and lawful basis needed for that use.
• Do not use Hyponema to evade provider, carrier, platform, or legal restrictions.

2. Consent, disclosure, and recordings

• Disclose that users are interacting with an AI agent when required by law or when a reasonable person would expect to know.
• Obtain all required consent before recording, transcribing, analyzing, or storing calls.
• Respect opt-out, do-not-call, quiet-hour, revocation, and deletion requests.
• Do not use Hyponema for unsolicited robocalling, spam, call bombing, harassment, or deceptive outreach.

3. No deceptive impersonation

• Do not impersonate a real person, public figure, brand, government official, candidate, or organization without authorization.
• Do not clone, simulate, or imply endorsement by a voice, identity, or persona without consent or legal right.
• Do not hide that content is AI-generated where disclosure is required or needed to prevent deception.

4. Protect vulnerable users

• Do not exploit minors, elders, patients, people in distress, or other vulnerable groups.
• Do not manipulate users into over-engagement, dependency, purchases, votes, donations, or disclosure of sensitive information.
• Products involving care, wellness, education, companionship, or minors must include appropriate human oversight, escalation, quiet hours, and safety review.

5. High-impact and professional advice

• Do not use Hyponema to make final decisions about health, emergency response, employment, housing, credit, education, insurance, legal rights, financial outcomes, or access to essential services.
• Medical, mental-health, legal, financial, and similarly regulated advice requires qualified human review, clear limitations, and any required professional licensing.
• Do not submit protected health information unless Hyponema has signed a Business Associate Agreement with you.

6. No fraud, abuse, or harmful content

• Do not facilitate scams, phishing, credential theft, social engineering, extortion, or unauthorized collection of personal information.
• Do not promote violence, terrorism, hate, sexual exploitation, self-harm, eating disorders, illegal goods, weapons, human trafficking, or abuse.
• Do not harass, stalk, threaten, defame, shame, or intimidate individuals or groups.

7. Elections and civic integrity

• Do not impersonate candidates, elected officials, election workers, or government agencies.
• Do not suppress voting, mislead people about civic processes, or generate deceptive political persuasion at scale.
• Political or civic use cases require prior written approval from Hyponema.

8. Security and platform integrity

• Do not attempt unauthorized access, scanning, scraping, load testing, reverse engineering, bypassing rate limits, bypassing safety systems, or interfering with Hyponema or third-party systems.
• Do not create multiple accounts, rotate keys, or manipulate traffic to avoid limits, fees, enforcement, or abuse detection.
• Report vulnerabilities to [email protected].

9. Enforcement

Hyponema may review activity for safety, security, legal compliance, and abuse prevention. Violations may result in warnings, blocked calls, disabled agents, removed content, revoked keys, suspension, termination, notice to customers, or reporting to authorities where appropriate.
